Open to new opportunities
Let’s build something that ships.
I’m a full-stack engineer in Dhaka working with a UK team. I take products from an empty repository to production — interfaces, APIs, data, AI features and the devices they talk to — and I leave tests and documentation behind. Everything you need to decide whether we should talk is on this page.

Why teams hire me
Claims are cheap, so each one points to the work behind it.
Ships end to end
Interface, API, data and release — including the unglamorous parts that keep software running.
Sole engineer on Bookodi’s desktop and mobile apps — Windows, macOS, Android and iOS — from a Print Bridge with 115 unit and 21 end-to-end tests to a layout audit that took 915 problems to none.

Learns an unfamiliar codebase quickly and starts carrying real work.
Promoted from intern to permanent engineer at Green Compare within two months.
See the detailsAI with guardrails
Uses language models where they help, and keeps them away from decisions they shouldn’t make.
Built an HR inbox agent where the model drafts and classifies, but deterministic code enforces every safety rule.

Starts things, finishes them and stays with them after launch.
Started Green Compare’s CRM and shipped features across finance, telesales, renewals, pipeline, client files, dashboards and access control — 38 merged pull requests.

Comfortable reading papers, running experiments and explaining what the results mean.
Paper on physics-guided machine learning for knitwear accepted at IEEE ICACT 2026.

Builds the evidence first — tests, replays, audits — and keeps risky automation switched off until it is earned.
A trading agent with 323 tests, golden-replay guards and order automation interlocked off; a QA bot and report that surfaced 96 defects with fixes.

Skills I use in production
What I use every day or have shipped in software people rely on. The rest, with context for each, is on the stack page.
- Languages
- Backend & APIs
- Data & storage
- DevOps & cloud
- Agentic AI
- IoT & hardware
- Testing & quality

How I work
The same four habits on every project, from a weekend tool to a production platform.
Find the hard constraint
Offline tills, untrusted email, flaky networks — I name the hardest constraint early and let it shape the design.
Ship a thin slice
A working version early, so decisions rest on real behaviour rather than guesses.
Test what would hurt
Unit tests for logic, end-to-end tests for flows, and real printers and phones for the edges.
Hand over cleanly
Decision records, reviews and runbooks, so the team keeps moving without me.

Azaz Ahmed Eraj is a full-stack engineer based in Dhaka, building SaaS platforms, AI agents and the hardware edges around them for a UK team at Green Compare. Starting as an intern on Bookodi, a live restaurant platform, Eraj rebuilt its analytics module and reservation views and was promoted to permanent engineer within two months. Since then Eraj has built Bookodi’s desktop app, its Print Bridge and its Android and iOS apps as sole engineer, started the company’s CRM, designed an HR inbox agent in which a language model drafts and classifies while deterministic code enforces the safety rules, and built a market-scanning trading agent with its automation deliberately interlocked off. Alongside work, Eraj is completing a BSc in Computer Science & Engineering at Independent University, Bangladesh, and has a paper on physics-guided machine learning accepted at IEEE ICACT 2026.

Questions people ask
Straight answers to what recruiters and clients usually want to know first.
Are you open to new roles?
Yes. I’m a full-stack developer at Green Compare and open to new opportunities — full-time roles, collaborations and well-scoped projects.
Can you work with a team outside Bangladesh?
I already do: Green Compare is a UK company, and I work with its team from Dhaka.
Which time zones can you cover?
I’m in Dhaka (UTC+6), five hours ahead of the UK in summer and six in winter, so UK mornings overlap with my afternoon.
What kind of work suits you best?
Product work end to end: React or Next.js front ends, Python or Node services and Postgres — plus AI features that need guardrails, and software that has to talk to hardware such as printers or sensors.
Can I see your code?
Public repositories are on GitHub. Much of my professional work is private, so I’m glad to walk through the architecture and decisions on a call instead of sharing client code.
What’s the best way to reach you?
Email or the contact form — choose “Hiring / role” so your message lands at the top of my list. I usually reply within two working days.
Have a role or project in mind?
Tell me about it — I reply to every serious message.
